Can you provide sound/music for the wedding ceremony as well as the reception?
Yes. Our clients often request this if they need music during their ceremony and/or a microphone for the person officiating. And yes, we use outstanding wireless microphones. |
Can we add the wedding ceremony service later after we have signed the
contract for your DJ to do our wedding reception?
Yes. Just contact our office. We will amend the contract to include your ceremony as well as reception and send you the new contract for your signature and return. |
Can you provide Karaoke for our event?
Absolutely! Without question, it adds lots of fun crowd participation and interaction for all kinds of parties. |
Do you have a video or "demo" tape?
No. We feel that showing you someone else's video generally doesn't mean very much, since your event is unique and each DJ or musician is unique. We feel the testimony of our clients and referring vendors is the best measure of our service. Visit "Our DJs" page to see what our clients are saying about us! We can provide you with many more references if you need them. We can also arrange for you to "peek in" at one of our contracted events where you can preview the exact DJ we are suggesting for your special event. |
When/how can we see one of your DJs in action?
Fill in our "Contact Us" page, or call us. We'll provide you the details so you can see one of us or a specific DJ at an upcoming event. |
When will your DJ contact us about our event?
Our DJ will call or email you within a few days of your receiving the contract for your event. Once we receive your signed contract and deposit, our DJ will be happy to review with you all the details of your occasion either by phone or in person. |
What kinds of music do you have for us?
All kinds! We have hundreds of great songs for all ages and musical tastes. Everything we have is well known and easy to dance to. It's perfect for your occasion and we're always adding new music weekly! |
Can we bring our own music in any format for you to play?
Yes! We can play CDs, vinyl, and cassettes. Today, most music is available on CD or mini disc. |
What are your rates?
Each occasion that we do is unique. Because of that, our rates may vary for several reasons, such as lighting packages, location of the event, a request for karaoke, or special requirements given to us by the client. Please fill out our "Contact Us" page with your pertinent event information, and we'll promptly mail you all of the information you'll need in order to book your event, including pricing. |
Can we pay using a credit card?
No, sorry...we request payment by check, money order, or cash. Most clients pay by personal or business check. |
Is there a charge for the time necessary to set up or break down the equipment?
Normally we do not charge extra for that time. We always arrive one hour before the music start time and break down during the hour after your event has ended. If you require us to set up earlier than that, we charge our normal hourly rate, to the full hour. |
Do you have an overtime rate?
Each additional hour is charged at the same hourly rate specified on your contract. However, we do charge for a full hour when the time extends less than a full hour. For instance, if you asked us to stay for another 1/2 hour to play, we would charge you for the full next hour. |
Do you have a microphone we can use and is there an extra charge for it?
There is no extra charge if only one or two microphones are needed. |
Will your DJ need a skirted table for his equipment setup?
Skirted tables are most helpful. Most hotels, resorts, and restaurants have them ready for us when we arrive to set up our equipment. For backyard events, etc., please make sure your caterer has a table that will work well for our DJ's equipment setup. |
Should we feed the DJ?
Only if you want to! For buffet lines, our DJs are always instructed to go through the line last. |
Should we tip the DJ?
Again, only if you want to. Clients often tip our DJs. Depending on the fee charged for the event, tips usually run in the neighborhood of 15-20%. |
What do your DJs wear?
Unless otherwise instructed by our clients, we always wear tuxedos for weddings and receptions, tuxedos and suits for corporate events, and theme dress for other events. |
